'Als Dit De Ruis Is' is a Dutch narration about sound. 'What will be left?', asks a boy himself. He lies in his bed on a hot summer night, the curtain is closed. The window is open as he listens between waking and sleeping to the sounds in the world, outside of his bedroom. He listens so well that he hears more and more distant sounds, until he hears sounds he doesn't know. Appearing from places he's never been, but seems to be going.

Overlanders is a musical group from Amsterdam formed around Jabik de Vries, Leli Vero, Jeroen van Kemenade & Tim Klein Haneveld.
In November 2012 they built a recording studio in a vacant building in Amsterdam. Together with a pool of other musicians, they locked themselves in for four days. This resulted in the abum "Als Dit De Ruis Is". A new album is scheduled for release in 2015. ... more
